I lost my mother six years ago and it never "gets better", just more complicated and numb. Thanks to the Sackler family my mother died after 17 years of a variety of prescriptions written by legitimate doctors... pain Management doctors fueled by the pharmaceutical companies to sell their drugs to people who did not need them.

She was taken too soon by her doctors who prescribed medications and a by a greedy family who owned a pharmaceutical company that manufactured addictive drugs and sold them as if they were non-addictive. They put profit over her life and the lives of so many others both past, present, and future.

I miss her every day and wonder if that random dragonfly or hummingbird that just stops in mid-air and pauses for what seems like eternity is really her... it feels like it and it's only happens a handful of times.

I hope we can soon have a better plan in place to prevent any more from dying... they still are and they are usually someone's children.
